Pvasiliadis, First Council of Nicea
“He cannot have God for his father who has not the church for his mother.”
Cyprian of Carthage (3rd century – 258)

God’s instrument for reaching the nations is the church.  Since Christ’s ascension, the church has undergone numerous changes.  Doctrine has been established and heresy has been combated.  The study of Historical Theology provides a glimpse into the glory of God as He has faithfully revealed Himself through the ages.  From the apostles, the early Church Fathers, middle age scholastics, the reformers, to the faithful today, God has used the church to spread the Good News of Jesus and the truth of His eternal majesty.
