RBC Ministries is a nonprofit Christian ministry headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. RBC’s mission statement is “to make the life-changing wisdom of the Bible available and accessible to all.” Founded in 1938 by M. R. De Haan, a family physician who later became a renowned pastor and Bible teacher, the ministry reaches millions of believers across the globe through its audio, video, print, and Web-based medias.
Most recognized for its devotional publication Our Daily Bread, RBC Ministries also produces the radio broadcasts Discover the Word, Words to Live By, Our Daily Bread Radio, Sports Spectrum, and the renowned television program Day of Discovery. Believers also benefit from the numerous Christian books and music products published through RBC’s publishing division, Discovery House Publishers.
Online Bible courses are also available through ChristianCourses.com, a ministry devoted to helping believers grow deeper in their knowledge of God’s Word. Individuals can enroll in either a certificate or noncertificate tract, moving through the courses at their own pace. Graduate seminary-level courses are also available through RBC’s newest ministry, The Institute of Theological Studies. ITS courses are used by seminaries and Christian organizations around the world and are perfect for individuals longing for seminary level teaching but not having the time or funds to attend seminary.
The impact of RBC Ministries can be felt across the globe. RBC has over 30 offices around the world with written materials being published in over 40 languages.
As current RBC President Mart De Haan states, “It’s important for all of us to remember, that from the beginning, our God has used broken people and willing hearts to make the life-changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to all.” RBC continues to pray that God would use all these resources to teach His Word and change lives for His glory.
