Posted 2/23/09 ITS recently hand delivered 10 courses to a Middle East Ministry. The courses will be used for training leaders in Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon. For safety purposes the names of the courses were changed and the identities of the workers have been concealed. ITS remains committed to partnering with believers around the globe to help in fulfilling the Great Commission. Please join us in praying for the church around the world. Posted 2/10/09 The 39th Evangelical Seminary & ITS Deans’ Councils took place February 5th – 7th. Held at the beautiful Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, TX, the annual meeting is an opportunity for seminary deans to enjoy Christian fellowship, professional development and personal enrichment. Among the conference highlights were a faculty development workshop, updates on ITS changes, and lectures on engaging the culture by Featured Speaker Dr. Darrell Bock of Dallas Theological Seminary. Also held during the conference was the Distance Education Roundtable. This year the group was honored to have Dr. Tisa Lewis from ATS present information and answer questions. Please pray for the Deans and the institutions they represent as they return to their individual campuses.

Posted 2/2/09 ITS is pleased to announce a new section of the Website called Illustro Mihi. In this section, visitors will enjoy a monthly post from a member of the ITS Family. Designed to be devotional in nature, ITS hopes that the Lord uses the writings to challenge and encourage believers. Psalm 36:9 reads, “in your light we see light.” We pray that God enlightens all our hearts as we meditate on His Word and seek to love and serve Him and our neighbors.

Posted 1/28/09 ITS recently made a donation to Christian Resources International a ministry out of Fowerville, Michigan. CRI's mission is to provide free Christian Literature to converts, missionaries, and pastors around the globe. ITS donated ten courses that will be distributed internationally in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, or South America as the Lord leads. CRI collects & delivers Bibles, Sunday School materials, and other training resources and the ITS Courses should be a blessing to future church leaders. Please pray for the work of CRI and for the individuals that receive the ITS Courses. May God continue advancing His kingdom throughout the nations.

Posted 11/21/08 The ITS Director of Operations Darrell Yoder represented the ministry at the recent ETS Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. The annual gathering brings together evangelical leaders from around the country dedicated to theological education. Mr. Yoder was able to visit with the ITS Deans and Professors and update various groups on current and future projects. In addition to fostering fellowship among believers and teaching on current trends in Christianity, the interactions provide critical feedback for ITS. Please join us in praying for all who attended the meeting as God continues training men and women for His kingdom work.

Posted 11/10/08 After months of prayer, the ITS Board of Directors has approved a new mission, vision, and purpose statement for the ministry. A committee led by Board President Warren Van Kampen and the Director of Operations Darrell Yoder worked carefully with Christian consultant Robby Richardson to pen the statements. The new mission statement reads as follows: “Foster spiritual transformation in the worldview Body of Christ through excellent theological resources to facilitate meaningful educational experiences.” ITS remains committed to serving the Body of Christ and prays that God uses the resources to change lives around the globe for His glory.

Posted 11/1/08 ITS is pleased to announce the release of its latest Legacy Course Biblical Preaching: A Pastor’s Look at Homiletics. Recorded by Rev. Dr. John R.W. Stott, these lectures were recorded at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1974 and have been archived for decades. ITS has professionally digitized the materials and edited the sound quality to bring the recordings to believers today. The lectures draw on Rev. Stott’s experience in preaching the Word of God and provide key insights into true Biblical homiletics. Since he retired in April 2007, these teachings will be the last Stott recordings ITS releases. This course is the November Featured Legacy Course.
